demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of the users of our site: www.mcleangardens.com (the “Site”).
Our Privacy Policy describes applicable information gathering and dissemination
practices.

information is collected on the Site?
In the course of its registration process, the Site collects
certain personally identifiable information such as your name, street address,
and in specified cases, your e-mail address.
McLean Gardens Condominium Association uses this personally identifiable
information solely in connection with the McLean Gardens Condominium
Association residents listing, and to communicate with you when necessary. E-mail addresses are collected by the Site
when Users elect to participate in the interactive features of the Site such as
the E-mail Bulletin, Message Board, Voting and/or Survey modules. McLean Gardens Condominium is the sole owner
of information collected on this site.
How is the information collected
and maintained?
Any personally identifiable information collected by the
Site is provided directly by Users in the course of the registration process or in connection with updating such information.
Such information is password protected and Users alone control the content and
accuracy of their personally identifiable information; however, the Site may
retain in backup or inactive files the uncorrected or outdated form of data
that is corrected or updated. Such data
may be retained for several reasons, including technical constraints and
troubleshooting. Users may correct or
update their information at any time by contacting the Community Manager at the
address set forth below.
Is the information shared and/or
transferred?
Access
to registered Users’ personally identifiable information is restricted to McLean Gardens
Condominium Association personnel (solely on a need to know basis) and
AtHomeNet, the company that hosts this Site. AtHomeNet has agreed in writing in
its contract with us never to disclose or release any User’s personal
information to any third party. Personally
identifiable information will be not transferred, sold or traded to third
parties by McLean Gardens Condominium or AtHomeNet. Notwithstanding the
foregoing, McLean Gardens Condominium Association will divulge personally
identifiable information to law enforcement agencies or other governmental
agencies when required to do so or when McLean Gardens Condominium Association
in good faith believes it is necessary in order to comply with legal
obligations.
Does this Site
use “cookies?”
A “cookie” is
a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about
the user. Cookies are used by this Site
solely to secure the Site so that only registered users can access the
information on the Site, and for the purpose of counting and securing votes for
any Online Surveys and/or Online Voting conducted on the Site. The only information such cookies shall store
shall be your name, login user ID, password, unit #, street address and e-mail
address. The cookie is released once the
user exits from the “residents only” portion of the website or closes his or
her browser, unless the user has
selected the option to have the site “remember login info.” Cookies or
information contained in a cookie are not shared with any other website or
third party.
Does the Site
use “log files”?
When a User logs onto this Site, the User’s activity is
tracked by AtHomeNet in a log file ONLY within this Site and only for: (a) the
purpose of noting which web pages are the most popular with the residents; and
b) to troubleshoot software problems only within the Site’s web pages. This Site’s activity logs are used solely by
AtHomeNet and the McLean Gardens Condominium Association only for the purposes
stated above and are not shared with any other web
site or third party. Any activity of
Users outside of this Site is NOT tracked.
What type of
security is employed by the Site?
Use of the Site by
registered Users is password-protected.
Only McLean Gardens Condominium Association and AtHomeNet personnel
(solely on a need to know basis), have access to such information. Each User is
responsible for protecting the secrecy of his/her password. Users are encouraged to change their
passwords frequently, and can do so by contacting the Community Manager at the
address set forth below. All information
collected from registered Users by the Site is stored on servers hosted by
AtHomeNet. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Users should keep in mind that this
Site and the AtHomeNet servers are run on software, hardware and networks, any
component of which may, from time to time, require maintenance or experience
problems or breaches of security.
Is the Site
connected to other websites by “links”?
This Site may
provide links to the websites of third parties. McLean Gardens Condominium
Association is not responsible for the content, reliability, security, or
privacy practices of these websites.
This Privacy Policy applies solely to this Site.
How are Users
notified of changes in the Policy?
From time-to-time, McLean Gardens Condominium Association
may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised Policy on this web page.
Changes to the Policy will take effect upon posting, provided that the use of
any information previously collected by this Site will continue to be governed
