McLean Gardens Barbecue Grills

Barbecue season is a great time to get together with other neighbors and friends in McLean Gardens.

Here's what you need to know about using the barbecues in McLean Gardens.

Barbecue sites are owned by McLean Gardens Condominium Association and are for use by the residents and owners of McLean Gardens Condominiums.

Barbecuing is allowed only in designated areas where charcoal burners have been constructed. Its for the safety of you and your neighbors. It's also the law.

Please use common sense and common courtesy when using the grills:
- For the safety of all, do not leave a fire unattended and do not leave the BBQ area while your charcoal is burning.
- Use odor-free lighter fluid or quick lighting charcoal as this will eliminate the chemical odor that lingers in the air after lighting your charcoal.
- Completely extinguish all fires.
- Dispose of coals safely.
- Clean up thoroughly when you are finished. Please remove all personal items, lighter fluid, grills, chairs, etc. from the BBQ area when you have finished your cookout. (Failure to remove personal items from the BBQ areas may result in management discarding same.)
- Dispose of trash properly. All trash should be sealed tightly in plastic bags. If trash does not fit into the courtesy trash bin located next to the grill, then PLEASE take the leftover trash to your own building and dispose of it (in tightly closed bags) inside your building's Trash Room bins. This will prevent wild furry animals and birds from picking at the leftover trash bags and scattering the garbage everywhere on the ground!

Please don't leave remants of your barbecue behind. Especially, don't leave any food scraps, overflowing garbage cans, sharp utensils, hot coals or broken glass at the barbecue pits this really attracts wild animals such as crows and squirrels who can get hurt easily. Leaving trash at the sight is not only unsightly, its also potentially dangerous to our furry friends, your children and animals who love to pick at leftover trash. So, please, remember to clean up thoroughly after your parties.

And, last, but not least, always remember to be considerate of your neighbors by wrapping up barbecue-area gatherings by 10 p.m. on weekdays, and midnight on weekends.

Lets keep McLean Gardens a safe and pleasant place for all of us by following these few common-sense rules.

If you have any questions or concerns, please bring it to the attention of the Community Manager for McLean Gardens. Thank you.
